Just came across this SRV version of Voodoo Child (originally played by Jimi Hendrix) and somehow it felt better than Jimi's own version...obviously you can't compare two legends and that's definitely not what i intend to do here. Must see how SRV doesn't even use a wah-wah pedal in the beginning (at around 00:42). RIP SRV and Jimi.

The rhythm section is very fast - the drums are powerful on the solos that are very fluent." Well put - a shred extravaganza!
