Part One is a "no rules" approach to get you started writing and refining your own songs. Part Two features detailed form charts and analysis of the compositional ideas hiding within the demonstration songs. The style is basically melodic hard rock, leaning toward metal and progressive at times. However, the practical songwriting tips are equally valid for any style accross the rock/metal spectrum.Tweet

i was excited to find this for the same reason as jr.... until i took a look at the scan... good gried... so many bits of music can't even be read... just cut right off.. and text at such a crazy angle most of the time... wow... it's like no care at all was taken in scanning it. no offense intended.. but this download was a huge waste of my time, as well as my Rapidshare use for the hour.
It may happen sometimes that you won't find something as good as you expected..such is life :-/
Efforts are on from my side to find a better quality file..so bear with me for a while :-)
