Daniel Wentworth--Self-Titled Album

Daniel Wentworth's latest 12 song, self-titled album (the follow up to "Caught In A Jam") is an outstanding example of axe slinging at its finest. From the hyper, free-wheeling "Flyin' Down 94" to the acoustic song "For You", this album has something for everyone. The 'riffman cometh' on tracks such as "Pete's Revenge" and the muscular "Face Down In It", the later featuring an explosive tapped solo. "Road Rage" continues the tradition of bombastic, lightning-quick instrumentals Wentworth is becoming known for. "Trippin' Over You" slows it down, and allows the Michigan guitarist to explore an expressive yet incendiary playing style. Wentworth has once again delivered an impressive collections of hard rock instrumentals.
